Postmates offers ‘contact-less’ delivery amid coronavirus concerns
Postmates has introduced a feature it has dubbed Dropoff Options, where customers can specify how they choose to receive their deliveries, according to Medium.
Customers can select from either meeting the delivery person at home, at the curb or have deliveries left at the door, which it sees as a contactless option, according to the story. The feature is available via the company’s regular delivery interface, where orders are place and customers are now prompted to choose how they want the order brought to them.
The brand said this was done to accommodate preferences for non-contact delivery due to health and other concerns.
